Local Hand Delivery
How do you deliver?
Our products are made fresh on the day and are extremely delicate, therefore are not suitable for overnight courier delivery and need to be hand-delivered (or collected from us) by our specialist team.
Where do you Deliver?
We hand-deliver to all FY & some PR postcodes. If you are outside of our delivery zones send us an email and we will do our best to help you!
When do you Deliver and how much is it?
Our standard delivery service is a 2hr timeslot of your choice between 9am & 5pm.
FY3, FY6 Poulton & Carleton - £5
FY1, FY2, FY5, FY4, FY6 (Hambleton) - £15
FY7, FY8, FY6 all other areas £20
Your products can arrive at any time within the 2hr delivery window.
If you require your product within a specific time frame, or outside of 9-5 we offer the below services for your convenience (please note the below costs are additional to the standard delivery fee above:
- Morning 1hr delivery slot (between 9am- midday) +£5
- Afternoon 1hr delivery slot (between midday - 4pm) +£5
- 1 Hour window delivery between 7am-9am
- 5pm-9pm +£10
When you purchase these add-on delivery services, please note we do everything we can to ensure they arrive on time, but we are not in control of external factors such as traffic, travel diversions or inaccurate ETA readings. We aim to meet delivery times but deliveries may take a little longer, or be a little earlier.
How does delivery work?
You will choose your delivery slot from the above times and we will confirm if we have the availability. Please be aware that if delivery is a little earlier than you need in the day, most products are the perfect size to pop into the fridge until needed.
We use reliable members of our team who will hand deliver the product to you, but we are not in control of external factors such as traffic and travel diversions. We aim to meet delivery times but during exceptionally busy periods deliveries may take a little longer. Occasionally tech updates to systems or force majeure events, such as extreme weather conditions, will mean that these delivery times need to be extended, but we will of course let you know if there are any extended delays.
Do I need to be in to accept my delivery?
Yes, the customer needs to be readily available to receive the product. If the team member needs to park and pay in order to deliver, GOURMET GRAZING will charge back the client these costs. Please let us know beforehand if there is likely to be any parking or delivery issues.
What is your policy if there is no one to receive the product?
Delivery will be attempted by the driver/team member. If no one is in, the package will be handed to a neighbour and a message will be sent to you letting you know which neighbour it has been left with. Failing that, the delivery will be left in a safe place. If no safe place is determined the food will be brought back to our kitchen. The product will then have to be collected from ourselves in Poulton when it is convenient for both parties (This has to be on the same day delivery was attempted). There will be no re-delivery attempts.
GOURMET GRAZING is not responsible for the product once left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
What if my purchase is a gift?
The above still applies. Please let the recipient know they need to be home to accept a delivery.
Events, Parties, Brand & Corporate Deliveries
ALL OF THE ABOVE STILL APPLIES FOR DELIVERY ONLY EVENTS.
GOURMET GRAZING can deliver to multiple areas for a corporate/brand event to the above locations. The above charges will apply to every drop off location. For example ... If there are 2 drops in FY5 in a standard 2 hr delivery slot you will be charged £15 for each delivery.
GOURMET GRAZING cannot accept liability for products spoiled due to missed deliveries or deliveries rescheduled if the client is not able to take in the delivery. This also includes missed deliveries for customers who have ordered delivery to their place of work, but have not been there early enough or stayed long enough to accept the deliveries that have been attempted.
GOURMET GRAZING are more than happy to provide replacements for any product, which will be chargeable.
Deadlines for delivery addresses submission to GOURMET GRAZING is strictly 72 hours before we start making product. If we receive addresses outside of this window, agreed deliveries are not guaranteed.
This charge is also applied to collect the props and boards. We are happy to remove this charge if you would prefer to drop everything back to us. Returned items need to be returned within 48 hrs of the event. There will be a deposit of £50 held until everything is returned.
